I’m Suzy, a baking addict that loves to bake, take photos, garden, and walk my two dogs! The kitchen is where I love to spend most of my time and I always try to find an excuse for baking! Whether it’s for birthdays, celebrations, or just for plain fun, I am a baking buff that loves to experiment with new flavors and combinations.

ABOUT MY BLOG

I started this blog while finishing my college, mostly to create an online cookbook of my favorite tried-and-true recipes. I taught myself how to take photos, and I take almost all of my photos with an iPhone with using natural lighting. I scourge the web for recipes from all over the world, and feature a lot of recipes from Eastern Europe!

When it comes to baking, the desserts I love to make and eat most are cakes. Multi-layer cakes. Four layers or more. I also love to make desserts using fruit like pineapple and bananas, and load it up with walnuts. My favorite cake of all time is my famous Hummingbird Cake (you’ve got to try it!).

Running Better Baking Bible is my full-time job along with writing for several other decorating sites. The recipes I publish on my blog are delicious, impressive, but also super easy to make! I want all of my readers to feel like they can be pros in the kitchen, with little or no experience. You don’t need to be a master in the kitchen to be able to whip up a jaw-dropping dessert or masterpiece! All it takes is a little bit of patience, and a love for really good food!

I love featuring recipes on my blogs that are affordable and do-able to the everyday baker. Entertaining, decorating, and food preparation is one of my passions and with a few simple tricks you can impress your guests with a delicious recipe that was affordable AND fail-proof to make! All of my recipes are simple and only require a few key ingredients you most likely have in your cupboard.
